Privacy Policy

Effective: April 27, 2026Last updated: April 27, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how WebsCare Marketing, a company registered in the United Arab Emirates and operating the LiveNewsPro service (“LiveNewsPro,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit livenewspro.com or use our subscription-based live news streaming service (the “Service”).

By using the Service, you consent to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who We Are and How to Contact Us

Controller: WebsCare Marketing, operator of LiveNewsPro Email: support@livenewspro.com

For payment- and billing-related privacy inquiries, you may also contact our payment providers directly: – Stripe (payment processor for Stripe-processed transactions) — https://stripe.com – Paddle (Merchant of Record for Paddle-processed transactions, where offered) — https://paddle.net

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information you provide directly

  • Account data: name, email address, password (stored as a hash), and any profile preferences you choose to set.
  • Communications: the contents of emails, support tickets, and other messages you send us.
  • Channel suggestions: any information you provide when suggesting a channel for inclusion in the Service catalogue.

2.2 Information collected by our payment providers

When you subscribe, your payment is processed by Stripe (acting as our payment processor) or, where offered, Paddle (acting as Merchant of Record). They collect your billing name, billing address, country, payment-card details, and tax-relevant information directly. We do not store, see, or have access to your full payment-card number. We receive only a transaction reference, the last four digits of the card, the card brand, the country of purchase, and subscription status.

The respective providers’ handling of this data is governed by their own privacy notices: Stripe at https://stripe.com/privacy and Paddle at https://www.paddle.com/legal/privacy.

2.3 Usage and technical data (collected automatically)

  • IP address and approximate location derived from it (country, region, city);
  • Device type, operating system, browser type and version, screen size, and language;
  • Referring URL, pages and channels viewed, watch duration, click events, and timestamps;
  • Stream-quality and buffering telemetry used to maintain Service performance;
  • Diagnostic logs (e.g., HTTP status codes, error traces).

2.4 Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session management, fraud prevention, preference storage, and aggregated analytics. You can control cookies in your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent the Service from working correctly. See Section 7 for details.

3. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • create and authenticate your account and provide the Service;
  • process and manage your subscription, renewals, refunds, and chargebacks (jointly with Stripe or Paddle, as applicable);
  • communicate with you about your account, service changes, security alerts, and support requests;
  • monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the Service, including stream quality and uptime;
  • detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, credential sharing, and security incidents;
  • send marketing or promotional emails where you have opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time);
  • comply with applicable laws, lawful requests from authorities, and our contractual obligations.

4. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA / UK Subscribers)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with a similar legal framework, we rely on the following legal bases under the GDPR / UK GDPR:

  • Performance of a contract — to provide the Service you have subscribed to.
  • Legitimate interests — to operate, secure, and improve the Service, prevent fraud, and run aggregated analytics, where these interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms.
  • Consent — for non-essential cookies and for marketing communications, where required. You may withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legal obligation — to comply with tax, accounting, and other legal duties.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Stripe, Inc. and its affiliates — payment processor for Stripe-processed transactions.
  • Paddle.com Market Limited — Merchant of Record and payment processor for Paddle-processed transactions, where offered.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers — companies that operate our servers, content delivery network, and database, all bound by data-processing agreements.
  • Analytics and error-monitoring providers — used in aggregated or pseudonymous form to understand Service performance and crashes.
  • Email and customer-support providers — used to send transactional emails and operate our support inbox.
  • Legal and regulatory authorities — where we are required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights, your safety, or the rights of third parties.
  • Successors in interest — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you of any change in ownership or use of your personal information.

6. International Data Transfers

We are based in the United Arab Emirates, and our service providers may operate in the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom, and other jurisdictions. By using the Service, you understand that your personal information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries whose data-protection laws may differ from those of your country of residence.

Where we transfer personal data of EEA/UK residents outside the EEA/UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses with our processors, and we apply additional technical and organizational measures where required.

7. Cookies

We use the following categories of cookies and similar technologies:

  • Strictly necessary — required for login, session, security, and core Service functionality.
  • Functional — remember your preferences (e.g., language, video quality).
  • Analytics — measure aggregated usage and Service performance.
  • Fraud prevention — detect bot, abuse, and credential-sharing patterns.

Where required by law, we will request your consent before setting non-essential cookies, via a cookie banner. You can manage or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service and to comply with legal, accounting, or reporting obligations:

  • Account data: retained while your account is active and for up to 24 months after deletion or last activity, then deleted or anonymized.
  • Billing and tax records (held by Stripe or Paddle): retained per the relevant provider’s policy and applicable tax law, typically 5–7 years.
  • Server, security, and diagnostic logs: retained for up to 12 months unless required longer for security investigations.
  • Marketing preferences: retained until you unsubscribe, plus a short period to honour your unsubscribe request.

9. Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), hashed password storage, access controls, audit logging, network segmentation, and regular software updates. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by applicable law.

10. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you;
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • Delete your personal data (“right to be forgotten”) where there is no overriding legal basis for retention;
  • Restrict or object to certain processing;
  • Data portability — receive a copy of your data in a structured, machine-readable format;
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent;
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority (in the EEA, the UK, or another jurisdiction that provides this right).

If you are a California resident, you also have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and disclosed, the right to delete, the right to correct, and the right to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” — we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising as defined under the CCPA.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@livenewspro.com from the email address associated with your account. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (generally 30 days). We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.

11. Children’s Privacy

The Service is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 (or under the age of majority in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact support@livenewspro.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

12. Third-Party Links and Content

The Service may include links to third-party websites or content (including third-party broadcasters and news feeds). This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party sites or services. We encourage you to review the privacy practices of any third party before providing them with personal information.

13. Do Not Track

Our Service does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” signals because no industry standard has been adopted. We treat all visitors consistently in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email and/or by a notice on livenewspro.com at least 14 days before they take effect. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the latest revision was made. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
